Menu:
1. "Sleuth Files"
Create 3 Sleuth Files if in a group of 3, 4 if in a group of 4, 2 if you're working individually
Choose 1 File and write a 3 paragraph summary from the detective's point of view!
2. Movie Poster
Choose any story from the past unit and create a movie poster for it!
Movie posters should include the following:
1 Picture of a scene from the story
2 Reviews from movie critics
3 Quotes from the story that would entice an audience to see the movie in theaters
3. Creative Writing
Your creative piece can take the form of a play, poem, story, news article, etc!
Must be 2-3 pages in length (you can always do more, you can never do less!)
Writing should include the following pieces of figurative language:
2 pieces of foreshadowing
2 similies
2 metaphors
1 alliteration
1 personification
4. Live Performance
In a group of 3-4 rite a play starring Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson!
Your play should be approximately 6 pages in length including dialogue and stage directions
Introduce a conflict that the duo tries to solve
Perform the play for the class on December 5th!
